If she likes fruits, then please offer her fruits--not anything from a can! Then you can try some vegetables. Start with the sweeter ones. You can grate a bit of carrot and let her pick up the individual pieces and eat them, or give her a chunk of a baked sweet potato.

Some babies like brown rice because it naturally comes in small pieces that they can pick up with their new skill at the "pincer grasp" (where a baby picks up small objects between the thumb and *one* finger).

If you offer your daughter real food instead of something processed, she is more likely to be interested in it because it is tastier and more nutritious.

7 month old baby should be able to eat any of the stage 1 baby foods and graduate to stage 2 and 3 over the next 3 nonths. Try to give more veggies than fruits other wise she will get a big sweet tooth and refuse the meats and veggies.

I have an 8 month old baby. She loves to eat! If she doesn't want to eat any veggies, try mixing them with one of her favorite foods and then start putting less and less of her favorite and eventually she'll be eating just the veggie. Gerber has these finger foods called Fruit and Veggie puffs. They melt in baby's mouth so if ur baby can mash things up with her gums try those. My daughter loves them.
I give my daughter food from my plate like broccoli if its really soft and mashed potatoes. She really likes them. And with me sitting right there eating she is more incouraged to eat as well. Try making meal time fun with laughs and grins. I have two girls and they are both big eaters, we just have a good time mess or not!
Try squash and sweet potatoes, but don't give her fruit the same time you're giving her the veggies. She will choose to eat the fruit instead of the veggies simply because its sweeter.
I hope this helps!

She needs more veggies definitley. Also you shouldn't really start your baby on any regualr table food until she is off of the formula which is 1yr approx. They do however have the gerber graduates and little snacks for children that melt in their mouth. But defintely more veggies.

I agree with momof3. The first solid food is rice, it's the most hypoallergenic, just cook it past firm, then other cereals.
