They sell them at Logan Airport but Legal Seafoods http://www.legalseafoods.com/index.cfm/pid/11279/page/Locations will pack them for your trip.

Throwing them head first into boiling water until the shells turn red is one way. Personally, I love them baked stuffed http://www.gortonsfreshseafood.com/recipe/00000153 , as many restaurants in Boston prepare them.

Sorry, but you're better off looking for streetwalkers. Lobsters never pack for traveling. They'll just call up room service, use all the soap, and bill it to whoever they're travelling with. They make messy, ungrateful roommates, and terrible lovers.

I'ts no wonder people are enraged enough to eat the lobsters.
Generally, the best way to cook them is to toss them in a pot of already boiling water. They make a horrible screaming sound, as the liquid in their bodies quickly turns to steam, and escapes the exoskeleton through small joints. To avoid the noise, some prefer to put them in with the water cold, and slowly start heating it up, but this will leave you to hear them try to get out longer, and the meat will stick to the shell.
serve HOT with butter and lemon. Nut crackers, and a stout knife will help you to get at the flesh before it cools, which is important, because cool lobster meat is really not much better than imitation crab cakes.
