I love me tats but think about placement. The palm would be a bummer to keep clean and free from a lot of bacteria. Plus, I would put a temp on to see if that is where you would like it for life. Also, talk to a tat artist and get their input.

It might look kinda cute. But prick the palm with a pin or something..... there are alot of nerve endings in the palm of your hand and it's going to hurt like a son of a gun! Think about it!

skin on the hands and feet is replaced more quickly than anywhere else on the body -- sloughed off with friction. a tattoo, especially one on the palm of the hand, will eventually disappear altogether for this reason. check around... see what your local artist says. many won't do these extremities.

I would say go for it if it is a meaningful thing to you. The palm is a very sensitive area with a lot of nerve endings, so It will tickle a LOT and also hurt a great del more than say your arm or leg.

You will be stuck with it forever, so think about it and make sure you can live with the tattoo for the rest of your life.

It that's what you want to do. Christians can't because they can't have permanent markings on their bodies. Try a temporary one, that way if you change your mind it won't be so pain-full.
