First time in south Florida. Also is there a website that will give me the exact spot in the sky I should look?

I've seen launches from Miami, on a very clear day. You can't see the shuttle itself, but you can see the smoke trail. With a very good set of binoculars, you might be able to make out the shuttle.

If the weather is clear, no overcast or rain at your location, you should be able to. You may not see the shuttle itself but you should be able to see the rocket trail.

My location is on the west coast, Tampa, and we see the liftoff in clear weather.

If the weather is clear, which it should be, you should be able to see it. A telescope would help, if you can rent one.
