For a few minutes but don't let her stay in too long or be too active and keep her hydrated, most important. I really wouldn't let her in for more then 15-20 minutes though.

I would let me 5 year old swim with a low fever if he felt up to it. I would not push it though. Let her swim a little while and see how she feels. Make sure she is getting plenty of fluids and is not in the sun to long. If anything, the swimming will tire her out and she should get some good sleep tonight.

Is it in your own home pool? If so, I would let her swim for a little while. It might actually bring her fever down if the water is cool. I would give her some childrens Motrin and let her swim for an hour or so , then have her rest.

no, you should not let her go swimming. that can make her more sick. putting her in cold water and then taking her out into the heat...bad idea. dont you know the 24 hr rule? you should not go out for 24 hrs AFTER your fever has gone away. therefore, if she still has a fever low grade or otherwise, you should keep her in

No. I would keep her hydrated but not let her swim. A fever is something to be careful of and could be indicative of something that could be contagious. Be considerate of other people and keep her entertained and cooled down in your home.

Don't let her over work herself. The water is good, but the running around is bad. It might be too stressful for her body right now. It could push her into being even more sick.

I would guess no. Let her sweat out the fever, you don't want to risk it going higher and then having to go to the hospital. Better safe than sorry.

If it's your own pool in the backyard then yes, but make sure she drys with a towel right after she gets out. Neighbors pool or public pool: no.

No, it is not.
It is hot out, and when she is not in the water, she can overheat from the sun together with the fever.
Furthermore, the exercise will not do her good when she's sick. She needs her strength to fight the illness.

if its your own pool then its fine, if its a community/public pool then I wouldn't. Most public pools don't allow children with fevers, pink eye, diarreha, etc. into the pools to "protect" the other swimmers.
