I am going to Minneapolis for the weekend and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas about what to see, if there are any must sees, while I'm there and any good clubs to go to at night.

Have a whole bunch of links for you to go through. For one thing, the city's largest festival is held in July so there's always something going on...(see firsrt link.) It runs from July 14-23, and there's a calendar you can click on specific dates. (2nd link.)
3rd link is AOL's city guide--great information about the Twin Cities (including night life..)
The 4th link is cool because it's WHAT TO DO and you get to scroll through the list and click on what you might want to do and decide before you do it because suggestions are rated by other travelers!
The last few links are to the Twin Cities CITY PAGES--a free weekly paper that lets everyone know what's happening in the Twin Cities--art, theatre, movies, clubs, etc.
The first CITY PAGES link is to "the BEST"..so just scroll down the list of activities and click on whatever you'd like to do and you'll see which places were voted the best!!
Also, will give you a few more links within the paper to better help you find what you'd like to do.

If you like to walk or roller blade, go to the lakes area and go around one or more likes. Lake Calhoun is the most hip, Lake of the Isles has the nicest houses to look at (you may see the house from the Mary Tyler Moore Show), and Lake Harriet has a bandsheel and there may be some music going on.
Rent the rollerblades on Lake near Hennepin.
If you like art, spend a couple of hours at the Walker Art Center.
Can't help with the nightclubs.

MN Zoo, Valleyfaire Amusement Park, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, Canterbury Downs Track, MN Children's Museum, Science Museum. Can't help you with the clubs. Enjoy your stay!

Have fun! I use to live there, Go to the Mall of America, alot of stuff you can do there. As for clubs dont know I lived there a long time ago.
