Matthew Kelly is the camp sounding guy off Stars In Your Eyes! Matthew Corbett was with Sooty and Sweep. My fella used to say that Sooty was his cousin when he was little cos his last name is Corbett - that is sooo sad! lol

the sooty show made its tv debut in1952,on talent night and in 1967 crossed over the bbc to itv .After Harry corbet retiered his son mathew took up the mantel until 1997 when corbett sold control of the series for over a million pounds .From 1992 the show was called the Sooty and co
in 1999 sooty took over the running of a hotel and named it Sooty Heights so from about 1997 onwards

matthew kelly never hosted it, it was matthew corbett, about fifteen years.
it was his dad before that, who invented it
