With the rapid collapse of 'traditional' values, how long before bigamy is legalised?

My advice would have been, potential bigamists, don't get married, give the loves in your life diamond eternity rings (3 for 2 at Tesco), then later perhaps some matching earrings from Walmart but will that be enough to keep them happy?

hang on a minute here. the issue isn't legalisation or the collapse of traditional values.

if you were allowed to be a bigamist, then your two wives would have to consent to you having the other wife. which is what many mormon relationships have. that's a totally different situation to bigamy when neither woman is aware of the other. that's why it's a crime.

why can't people keep their word (vows) anymore? If they legalize multiple partner marriages, it would be just as accessible to throw out the spouses that aren't measuring up anymore for another.

If this happens, it will prove that America isn't great anymore.

Potential bigamists should not get married or have children. They should have protected sex.

It's not about the bling. It's about taking and keeping a vow to be faithful.
