Look at a subscription music such as Yahoo Music Unlimited To Go, Rhapsody To Go, or Napster To Go. For a low monthly fee, you can download and listen to all the music you want. You can transfer it to a PlaysForSure subscription compatible MP3 player.
I have over 1000 songs on my player and I pay $10 a month with a one year pre-paid subscription. I download 20-40 new tracks a month. Sometimes a over 100. This works out to less than a penny a song a month. That's darned near "free" and much better than any of the music sharing services.

Stick with limewire but get PRO, I have it and wont ever trade it.
