Out law selling Tobacco, it will stop a lot. But not every one then it will be like the other weed. and some will grow their own. I am still waiting on some one to invent the Cigarette that is good for your health.

I think the number of smokers is already decreasing on its own. As a smoker myself I find it hard to find places to smoke (that allow smoking). Hospitals have banned it on there parking lots even. Don't get me wrong I think it's a good thing that they have. Also restaurants and shopping malls don't allow smoking in or outdoors if you are anywhere close to the entrance. I think it's rude of people to smoke around non-smokers anyway so this was a step in the right direction. Tax increases on cigarettes on are forcing tons of people to kick the habit and rightfully so. Just look around and give it time. Slowly, smoking is becoming a thing of the past.

Stop growing tobacco. That's a start. If they had to grow there own? The best prime land and the most fertilizers are used in the growing of tobacco. There was a statement once that said:
"We could more than feed all the starving in the world if the land and resources used to grow tobacco was used to grow soy beans. Or some other healthy crop"

if you want to stop everybody who smokes from smoking there's really only one thing that you can do and that's get rid of all tobacco production. If you stop growing tobacco and stop companies from making cigarettes then nobody can smoke can they but all the tobacco companies give large sums of money to government and governments make loads more through taxes that this will never happen

Nobody's stopping you from doing what you want to do, why do you have to impose your will on others? You wanna stop people from smoking around you, that's fine, but if it's not even affecting you, why would you want to stop them?

Stop people from starting smoking, the smokers will deplete their own numbers naturally enough.
That said I have news for non smokers....... Non-smokers die everyday! You will die too!

goverment programs to help those who want to stop,
start a society trend where all smokers are shuned,
