Rosie isn't taking Stars place, she is taking Meredeth's place because Meredeth is moving to the Todays show. Star is being removed because people don't like her anymore since she went all crazy about her wedding. I like Rosie better because she is a real person and doesn't try to act better then everyone else.

I totally agree. I hate Rosie (not because she's a lesbian, because she's ANNOYING) and I loved Star! I'm so sad. =( Without Star AND Meredith, I'm not even going to watch the show anymore.

The show is on it's last leg. I don't see how Rosie will help the show at all! Maybe they are counting on some of Ellens fans to start watching the View. By doing this they are changing the whole dynamic of the show. POOR CHOICE!!!!!

I totally agree. But Rosie isn't taking Star's place, she's taking Meredith's place. Brandy is taking Star's place on The View, at least that's what i read on People.com a few days ago. =)

chill with the lesbian comments......over 10 to 12 percent of the earth's population is gay now (and that's just the ones brave enough to admit it) as far as rosie......call her obnoxious and a loud mouth (which she is), but don't think a lot of people are going to consider 'a very lesbian' an insult......we don't.
and Starr QUIT......so ask her about it....not us.

No. "The View" was never supposed to be about "mainstream wholesomeness." I haven't watched that show in many years, but I do recall lots of bawdy humor and banter among the women. Actually, Rosie seems, to me, to be a good fit for that sort of thing.

well i thinkstar jones is a great great star but its not fair to talk about rosie in that way i mean how in the hell did u know if she is gay or not i think in my openion its not fair to remove star and its not fair to talk about rosie in that way becase she is a pereson like all of us.

Definately Rosie. She could be huge, yet she's truthful. you won't be able to say that approximately celebrity. Honesty is amazingly "warm." Plus, Rosie is amazingly humorous! yet another large high quality. yet i do no longer think of i could desire to be certain the two of them bare!! :(

i totally agree wit chu! its sooo wierd..rosie o'donniel!!!!its rosie. shes like all lesbian and stuff.i have nuthin against lesbians and gays, but its just strange to me i guess. mayb they replaced star, cuz the producers noe that she and rosie DO NOT get along
