His name is Hermann Maier. And he was a great champion in alpine skiing; in 1998 he took a huge tumble on the Olympic downhill but he came back and won, I think, 2 of the other 3 events. His career was almost ended by a motorcycling accident a few years ago, but he made his comeback last season and he competed for all the Olympic titles in Turin, unfortunately failing to get his hands on the gold.
