I officially announce my candidacy for President. Here are me solutions to important issue:

Social Security- leave it alone....there is nothing wrong with it

The war in Iraq- we are getting the hell out of there, immediately.

Gay marriage- government has NO business in your personal life. legalize it

Gay adoption-ditto

Abortion- will remain legal....with MANY more restrictions. it is just way too damn easy to get one.

Prayer in schools- shockingly enough, I'm all for it. on your own time, in a designated place, and only if a teacher or school official volunteers to lead the group. taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for it. and this goes for ALL religions.

Taxes-You make more, you pay more. Wealthy people don't pay enough.

Immigration-It shouldn't be so hard for people to become American citizens. You make it easier, people stop jumping the border, and the cost goes down

VOTE KUBRICKIAN IN '08. now its on to Chicago, and let's win there.

As a conservative Republican, I find your solutions shockingly un liberal Democrat. How'd that happen? It's a tough name to remember but by the time you make your way to Pennsylvania, people will have been hearing about you on the news long enough and the logo is unique. So far, you've got my vote.

Oh this will be fun.

Social Security- leave it alone....there is nothing wrong with it
- Works for me, but on its current course, there will be no Social Security when I retire, not that I would ever think about leaving my retirement up to the goverment.

The war in Iraq- we are getting the hell out of there, immediately.
- Stupid idea, whether or not you agree with the war (which I do) we cannot just leave without completing the mission. If we did the results would be disastrous for us and the world.

Gay marriage- government has NO business in your personal life. legalize it
- I agree on the point that the federal government should not be involved in this. But a number of states have put laws into effect that ban gay marriage (remember its supposed to be government for the people by the people). But liberal courts have overruled the will of the people. This is why it has become a federal issue. But by all means leave this to the people to decide and stop letting the courts get involved with creating law.

Gay adoption-ditto
- Ditto here as well.

Abortion- will remain legal....with MANY more restrictions. it is just way too damn easy to get one.
- Once again this should have been left to the states as the Consititution says. If a federal power is not specifically granted in the Consitution it specifically is supposed to be left up to the states to decide. Once again we have had a liberal court making laws and getting involved with things they should not be involved with.

Prayer in schools- shockingly enough, I'm all for it. on your own time, in a designated place, and only if a teacher or school official volunteers to lead the group. taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for it. and this goes for ALL religions.
- The only thing you have here that makes any sense, and I myself am an atheist.

Taxes-You make more, you pay more. Wealthy people don't pay enough.
- Wealthy people already pay way to much of the tax burden. Currently the top 50% of incomes pay 96.54% of the tax burden. The top 1% pay 34.27% of the tax burden.
Wealthy people will be wealthy whether or not you tax their income. If taxes are to high, they simply do not invest their money and therefore don't make any money, there is no income in which to tax. They simply can live on the fortunes they have already created.
If tax rates are low, and it then becomes worthwhile to make more, they will. They will invest it in new endeavors that create jobs, and create further wealth. Which then as proven under Reagen and now Bush, increases the amount of total taxes paid into the treasury because more people make more money.

Immigration-It shouldn't be so hard for people to become American citizens. You make it easier, people stop jumping the border, and the cost goes down
- It should not be hard, and it is not really that hard now. But there are millions of people wanting to get into this country and we simply cannot let everyone that wants in, in. All you should have to do is get a work visa, establish you can support yourself, speak english and pass a basic civics class. The fact that there are going to be long waiting lines, just speaks on how great our country is.

unfortly if you leave social security alone it will run out of money. so bad answer

if we leave Iraq without a stable government we will face more attacks. the terrorist have learned how to win the war. just follow the model set up of Veitnam. make the war look unwinnable and allow the USA media lead us out. Judith Miller had a story before 911 that she was going to break about terrorist hitting the USA. the had intercepted 2 terrorist talking about how there was no retalution after the US Cole and how there next attack would get a response. for the most part that is how al quada grew in the 1990's because we never responed to their 5 hits againtist us. they figured they could grow. if we allow the terrorist alone they will be fighting them on our streets.

gay marriage is just a slippary slope into other bad situations. gay marriage will lead to other bad marriage choices, group marriages, youth marriages.after Mass. passed Gay marriage bill the senate moved to remove a law againtist animal sex.
http://www.mass.gov/legis/bills/senate/st00/st00938.htm

gay adopition is the same. we want people to live the healthest lifestlyes and homosexuality is not. in the 90's( last time say the statis) an average gay man lived to be 42 years old, while the average male lived to be 76 years old. am sure the number has increased since medicene for aids has gotten better.

abortion still kills woman. that is legal abortion.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports the following number of U.S. abortion deaths in recent years:1

1994 10 legal abortion deaths
1995 4 legal abortion deaths
1996 9 legal abortion deaths
1997 7 legal abortion deaths
1998 10 legal abortion deaths
1999 4 legal abortion deaths
2000 11 legal abortion deaths

here is a nice article about the phsyscal effects of abortions on woman

through the tax cuts it is still true the more you make the more you pay. there have been 3 presidents that have given tax cuts and all have yeilded the same results. a growing economy , and more money coming into the federal governmant so it works.

immigration many of these people are not even applying to get in they are just coming over the border.

Well #1 there are problems with Social Security. So you may want to say, Keep the politicians hands out of it. There are always ways to improve a program. so be more open minded in this regard.
#2 - If we pull out of Iraq before we are done with the Mission we will be right back where we started. Again, be more foresighted on this topic.
#3 - I believe marriage should be only between a man and a woman. If same sex couples want to join together legally then use another term.
#4 - Gay addoption - The jury is still out on this, but on the whole I am looking at it as a last option for children.
#5 - Abortion should be the exception not the rule. It should not be okay as a means of birth control. There are numerous other methods out there. Use them.
#6 - Prayer in schools - I agree with you.
#7 - I believe in tax incentives if they create more jobs for US citizens. If companies in this country can't make any money in this country, then why the hell be in this country. Big business is not the enemy people like to make it out to be. We could all go back to being farmers. (which would take care of the migrant worker problem)
#8 - Immigration- for starters lets just start inforcing the laws currently on the books. Illegals get treated like any other criminal and get deported, it will save us billions. You just made it across the border to have a baby? Well you have your choice. Go back to your home country with your child, apply for citizenship to the US. Your child will automatically be a citizen, so less paperwork and hassle for you. If you want your child to remain in america see item # 4 - Gays would love to adopt them. Build up patrols at the border. Let the illegal home countries deal with their own folks.
The costs will go down when we quit giving them everything.
So I will have to see more reasons to vote for you.

If you really don't think marriage is the government's business, why do you want the govenment to change it? Sounds like you have it the other way around. The legalization idea isn't bad, though. Although, some kind of English requirement is a must so the citizens of this fine country can actually talk to each other. Otherwise, forums like this one are useless.

The only one's that I could even come close to agreeing with are gay marriage and gay adoption. The abortion thing sounds kinda wishy washy. And if you can't see a problem with Social Security you probably SHOULD be running as a Democrat for President. That seems to be the party attitude. Happy Independence Day!

You sound like a typical LIBTARD. Your issues are no different than the typical Democrat. Good luck in the primaries. You have no chance of winning.
