If you have four players you deal out 5 cards. Look at your cards you want four of a kind. You pass ONE card that you dont want to your left and the person on the right of you will pass a card to you that they don't want. When someone has four of a kind they out their hand in the middle. The last one that put their hand in has a "P". Think of the P-I-G game you play with basketball. One you have all three your out, or loose.
If you have more then 4 players you'll have to get another deck and pick anther suite or four of a kind. I think you can do that anyway you want making it harder. If you have questions say so on a comment on here and i'll answer it.

i think pig is wen every person gets 4 cards and there is a "head" (the person who is giving the cards) and the "but" or "tail" which is the last person to recieve...everyone starts with 4 cards and the goal is to not get a letter ("p" "i" or"g"). When u get a card from the playyer next to you which was originall dealt by the head than u either pass it on or keep it and pass a differnet card, u should always have 4 cards. If u get a 4 of a kind u stik ur tongue out and if some1 sees u have ur tongue out, than u can stik ur tongue out...or vise verso, if u c some1 w/ there tongue out u can stik urs out. The last person to stik there tongue out get's a letter. U lose when u get all three letters of PIG. So u can either focus on getting the four of a kind or just keep ur eyes out 4 someone else who got it, the best way is to do a little of both, look up once and a while.
This game has many versions, there is one where there are objects in the middle u have to grab ex 3 ppl playing and 2 objects in the middle, whoever doesnt grab an object loses, u can grab an object wen u have 4 of a kind or wen someone else grabs the 1st object

Most games have lots of different names depending on where you live. Could ya kinda tell us how it goes then maybe we can give you some other names to search for.
One website says pig is like spoons except you touch your nose. Does this sound like anything to you?

PIG is the same as TUNK or what the African Americans call "Pitter Pat".
Everyone get's 7 cards. The object of the game is to use all cards in your hand. Sort of like Rummy. But a little different. You match 3 or 4 of a kind and lay them down in front of you face up when you get the match. You can also lay down a straight (same suit only in 3 or more consecutive numbers) QKA, 456, etc.
After the first cards are dealt, one card is turned up. This is the card in play. The person after the dealer goes first. They have the option of picking up the face up card, drawing from the deck, or laying down all cards in thier hand. If they have the lowest number of pts in thier hand, when they lay down then they win and game over. We play for money. Each hand is $5.00 or $1.00 depending on what we're in the mood for. You can play for clothes if you really want to have some fun. If you win the hand, then everyone has to take off some clothing. LOL anyway, back to the game.
The person after the dealer goes they can only pick one card. Either the one face up or one from the deck. When they pick up a card, they can lay down a spread, or just discard one. After they discard one, thier turn is over.
Next person has the new face up card to choose from or one from the deck, or they can lay down and hope to have the lowest points in thier hand. If someone lays down and does not have the lowest amount of pts in thier hand, then they are the PIG and either owe twice the amount to the winner, or they have to take off two pieces of clothing, take two shots, or whatever you are playing for.
When you lay down a run or a 3 of a kind, the next player can lay down on your run or 3 of a kind adding to it and stopping you from trying to lay down your cards the next time. So if you toss out a 678 of spades, the next player can lay down the 9 of spades and you can not drop your cards on the next turn. You have to wait another turn.
When someone lays down, or runs out of cards, game is over. Reshuffle and start all over again. If you run out of cards instead of laying down, they you win twice the amount, or everyone else has to take off two pieces of clothing, or take two shots, etc.
