Also I haved watched up to season 3, did they make a fourth season before it was cancelled, or was 3 the last one?

I wish it would, but doesn't look like it. Here's a link to an article in Variety. It appears the talks with Showtime didn't go through becuase of money, so the creative director has decided the show has run its course. He did say he'd be open to doing a movie; but I doubt they'd make enough money to justify making it...fan base is too small. So, it looks like that's the end of the show. And what I can find, it was only 3 seasons.

inspite of the thorough approval from critics, Arrested progression never climbed interior the scores. Fox aired the terrific 4 episodes of the third season in a block as a 2-hour series finale on February 10, 2006

They put together a two-part series ending this year. That's it. There will be no more. It just couldn't find a fan base.
