i don't know why he leaves it on, but i do know this. there is absolutely nothing wrong with leaving a television on. it is better for the machine to leave it on instead of turning it on and off repeatedly. the simple act of turning on a tv and turning off a tv is the worst action a tv goes through (durability-wise).

He's likes having the back ground noise or knows that a TV that stays on all the time will out last one which is turned on and off more.

Because he is a man! They don't think about things like turning off the TV. Plus they want to be able to come back to the channel they were watching.

Cause he knows you'll go in and turn it off. I'm a female and I do the same thing I don't really know why, but I always leave the TV on, yet if someone else in my house does it, it drives me nuts. I know, I know, just one of those weird things.

i agree with buster because I am the same way. I just turned the tv off that hubby left on. But i will leave it on downstairs while i am upstairs on the computer.

LOL! I do the same thing! I put it on and then feel guilty for sitting on my tookus and watching TV, so I get up and do a quick chore, then check back, never really sitting down. Dunno if your hubby is doing the same thing, but I am guilty as charged!

because ur husband do not know how to switch off the TV .... you must teach him more often .....try using fine to teach him a lesson

i dont noe him, but wen im cleaning my room, i leave it on, cuz i hate looking to that side of my room and seeing nothing, but i also leave the music on, so no matter where i go in my room, its not boring. its sounds strange, btu maybe he just likes the sound or sumthing...ud have to ask him
