Animax is actually an all-anime station from Sony/Tristar/Columbia that's only available in Asia. The channel features popular hits like Naruto and One-Piece as well as famous classics like Rurouni Kenshin and Tenchi Muyo. All the shows are released in English (with the dubbing mostly done in Hong Kong), with a few in subtitles only. To most anime fans in Asia, this is the channel of choice for Anime and is said to be way better than the Anime Network or Funimation TV in the US.

"animax" is a television program where they only show japanese animation. i have it on cable here in jkt, indonesia. "animax" is on channel 13. =)
