Black smoke indicates WAY too much fuel, OR, not enough air.
This is pretty much a guess, but an educated one.
There are two engine temperature sensors. One is for your temperature gage on the dashboard, or idiot light.
The other one is for the computer. It tells the computer if the engine is up to operating temperature.
I would guess it's the second one. If it's faulty, it will continue to tell the computer that your engine is still cold, and to run richer.
It may be that the wire just came off of it?

Darn. This may be hard over the Inet. I give a few ideas and what they do. First check the AIR FILTER! Is it Wet or Dirty? CHECK the Distributor CAP if there is one, it may be Cracked!!!!!! IF, it the straight 6 cylinder the Distributor is on passenger side (I think) about middle, it where the Plug wires go and run to the spark plugs. Rain/water get inside the CAP and heat to steam it can CRACK the CAP!!!! Cracks CAN be hard to see too.
(1) Throttle Position Sensor (TPS); This where the Gas Pedal cable connects under the hood to the Engine. What it does is monitor how much Gas you giving the vehicle. Actually it how much AIR not Gas. BUT, if it telling the Computer you giving Air it will give Gas.
(2) Mass Airflow Sensor (Mas) OR (MAP); This is usually after the Air Filter in the Hose/Pipe that lead to where the TPS is. It monitors the amout of air going to the engine AND it's Temperature! So, if it think it cold outside it will give the engine more gas flooding the Engine with Fuel like the Old Chokes on carburetors of days gone.
1 & 2 can be tested with an OHM meter. 2 is harder and a more expensive part. Last Jeep I worked on the TPS needed replaced and it was like $70 it not cheap either.
When you getting the Black smoke and Plugs it a sign there too much Fuel going to the engine. When you start your Jeep and it start the Black Smoke give it gas with the pedal (Do Not Over do the RPM where it just screaming) see if it clear up and run better when it has more Air. Remember, today's cars when you push down on the Gas Pedal it ACTUALLY giving the Engine more air. The TPS monitors this and adjust for Fuel which the computer does with the Fuel Injectors. When you give it the Pedal and IF it clears up it may be the TPS.
IF, it continues to smoke and Spit with the pedal down some, then there may be another problem.
I WILL ADD more information as I can think of things.
Had to get my Code Book!!! Code P0011 "A" Camshaft Position- Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1).
Camshaft? or Crankshaft? Sensor; which did they change? You said Crank? Code P0011 is the CAM Sensor.

Black smoke means too much fuel and /or not enough air/spark....If a problem wasnt there before work was done and now there's a different problem then I look at the work that was done first, unfortunately , you worked on alot of different areas, if you had crank sensor problem and replacing it solved that problem, why did you do O2 sensors, any other sensors, fuel pump? Kinda sounds like your return line for fuel may have been pinched and fuel pressure is too high, but you need to measure fuel press. to confirm, also seen fuel regulator, map/maf sensor cause concern(but u'd have codes) wrong plugs, coil, and a few, spark control modules, injection control modules(computors) 20 min. is a long time to run(flooding), you need to know if you still have spark after that time.

It is your ignition coil or distributor cap. Possibly both, When the coil gets hot it is shorting out and causing a weak spark witch causes the black smoke and carbon build up. A cracked cap can do the same thing by throwing off the spark when it heats up and is a common cause for the vehicle shutting down after hitting a puddle or getting it wet. I would change both of these and also the ignition rotor while you are at it because it is cheap and should be changed anytime you change the cap.
Hope I have been helpful.

Check the (map sensor) it also sounds like it is overheating and your gages may be lying to u sooo check your thermostat and water pump . hope this helps!!! on these newer cars theres a sensor for a sensor : )
