One of my favorite scary movies ever is this '80s horror movie called Sleepaway Camp. Another one has to be the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Recently, though, I really liked the remake of The Hills Have Eyes.

Lately, scary movies really means 'gory' movies. Back when scary meant scary, there was 'The Haunting of Hill House'. I think that was the movie about the people sent to investigate a haunted house, and what happened there.

properly i'd ought to assert signs and indicators..after I first watched that action picture with my 3 cousins and my aunt it sacred the crap out of me after I talked about that alien..ooh..I wasn't waiting to sleep smooth in my mattress for an finished week! And IT omg!!! i must have considered it even as i became 6 years old and that i might want to'nt see it back until eventually i became 16...That action picture became the blame for me hating all clowns now! Halloween (The classic), Exorcist, Poltergeist, Land of the lifeless( Hate ZOMBIES!!), And very last yet no longer least The Descent ( That action picture killed my favor of ever going right into a cave..)

umm. i like all scary movies but my favorites are exorcist, halloween series (not number 3), texas chainsaw massacre, rob zombie films lol. I dont like dawn of the dead to tell u the truth. i found it more funny than scary and the alien, and predator movies are jus too sci-fi. i also love friday the 13th but they got old after number 4 and nightmare on elm street was good too.

I will have to agree with the Halloween series.
Just don't include Halloween 3 - Season of the Witch
This is because Michael Meyers is not in any part of this movie... I don't even think his name is mentioned...
