When I was little I always had a dream where one of my family members died that I had knew all my life.It was weird cause it would always be a different person and a different situation. The situations was weird like I remember this one dream I had that my mom was on top of a really tall hotel sign and she fell off.But in all those dreams It would always have every member of my family I knew. But I stopped having those dreams at a certain age but I can't really remember what age it was.I'd always cry in the dreams and sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and start crying. Was these just some silly dreams like you dream about monsters? Why was I dreaming this? What stopped it?

The dream questions are intriguing - true. But, unfortunately, no one honestly can accurately explain the meaning of your dreams. They may be the result of your diet or level of fatigue or even hormone levels. Don't take them too seriously. Dreams are what your mind does when you're not looking.

a dream tells more about you than the people you dream of. I would guess that each person you saw dying in your dream, was an aspect of your personality that was evolving and changing. Hence the old aspect of your personality died, and you changed.
This is an on going process through out childhood through out adulthood.
Example:
You go from being a dependent child, to a much less dependent teenager. Your relationship with your mom changes due to this. Both you and your mom realize this and you behave differently towardeach other, and expect different things from each other. The old way of relating to each other dies and a new mother daughter relationship is born. YOu can have a dream that your mom dies, especially if you are having difficulty and regretting your new role in society and would prefer to keep the older relationship: growing pains.

I have to agree with pammy and cargib that was a great anwser it may have been that you were experienceing feelings fear of abandoment or that a certian part of your ego was dying at the time and your subconcious mind was relaying this to you in symbols(dreams are usually spoken through symbols)and as a person is growing up they will have a change in their mentality(being their prespective of things)this occurs as cargib throughout life I would like to add that to help you better define this if you had recurring dreams os wearing glasses or having blurred vision or seeing things in a brilliant light this would futher justify the fact that you preception was and is changing Since however we can safely say that dreams are subjective(different symbols for different people) it would be wise for you to purchase some books on dreamwork(see which resonate with you first) if you have any first people around where you live(being native american)or new age people etc it may be wise to talk with them if this is feasible a good web site is www.dreammoods.com of which I would highly recommend it is informative also reading the works of esther harding(a student of Carl Jung) and the works of carl jung or joesph campbell man and his symbols are very good places to start also it may be considered wise if you will keep a journal of your dreams(in writing or drawing form)the reason for this it allows you an outlet to honor the messages of the sacred the Iroquois confederancy had very strong beliefs in their dream life and by doing this(journaling and talking with a trusted someone not someone you just met but have gotten to know and trust)thsi will help you to honor the dramtime in closing I wish you blessings for this journey of self discovery shonahai(blessings)

It could mean something and when you are little and now your big you go through different stages and your mind is off it and you stopped it if you prayed or did something else to stop it or maybe it just stopped by itself. My aunt she had a dream that her dad was hugging at the grave and her dad is dead. So she had a dream about him and she was crying to she told everybody about it. So your dream could mean anything. Listen to this dont sleep on your back flat because that makes you have bad dreams. Or thats least what I heard.

Let me analyze this dream...
family members, mom = closer friends or relatives.
tall hotel sign and your mom fell off = relationship not too closed or subconsciously you want to be closer.
Based on your dream (by not knowing your family background), you want to mend the relationship with your mom or your family members. To jump off the building is like not being closed to you.
You are still dependent to your mom and you want your mom to know that you always are there and you are always with her eventhough she may not know or tell you on words.
Hotel is a rental place or = temporary place. In other words, you want to have closer relationship with your mom or any family member you see in your dream. In a way, you are in lack of sense of independence.
Again, this is only knowing part of your background. It may not be accurate

it was just one of ur insecurities. Did u ever have a traumatic experience where u lost a close family member or a friend and u think u are responsible for their death in some way or u have some unresolved issues and u have thought that one of your family members should die. its just your guilt sense that got resolved when your ego matured.

HI Pepsi,
a couple of questions...
Did your parents get divorced? Did you live with your Mom or Dad? Did other members of your extended family get divorces?
If you like you can email me directly.

It could be fear of abandonment from some early experience that made you afraid as a child. It could have resolved or maybe found other ways to manifest itself.
