Whoever wins will have cheated and payed the referee. Italy because they are known for their foul play, and Germany because they are the hosts and have bought off the title ;-)

Am I wrong? Hehehehehe

The ear pieces are to communicate with the other referees on the field, to make a better call. Even though the refereing in this cup has been horrible. Portugal is a team that might be paying the referees. FIFA too, the Figo headbutt didnt even get a fine or suspension. Plus, in the holland vs portugal game, didnt Robben get hit on the shoulder with a a flying kick?? Also in the England game there was a clear hand which it was supposed to be a penalty.......... nothing happened. Plus C.Ronaldo did an illegal penalty kick..... still it counted. Also, Rooney had gotten fouled before the kick in the balls. Mayb it was Sven's fault for leaving him alone as a striker. I think the answer is technology. A solution to this problem might be a referee that has communication with a replay station. They should tell him the right call in a tough situation.

No - there have been some bad decisions - but you have to put things into perspective - so many people are focusing on the games that they can pick out these errors (and some of them have been shocking) but that is easy for us to do sitting at home or watching in the pub - the match officials get a second to make a decision, not an easy thing to do, but part of what makes our favourite game so exciting. No referee is going to put their reputation and career on the line to cheat - FIFA would not stand for it. Graham Poll stuffed up and has had to retire from International Football as he is so embarrassed. If you think it is all a fix then it is not worth you watching - mistakes are made but not deliberately. At the most the partisan home crowd may influence a referee!

i dont think the world cup is a set up. i just think the refereeing is bad. Generally, decisions have been equally bad to both teams playing.
