It improves their already formidable defensive abilities, but Ben's a crappy free throw shooter and could cost them a tight game or two when teams play "Hack-a-Ben" defense. But his reputation will give the Bulls some credibility for their inside game, and maybe Wallace can teach Tyrus Thomas a few things about grabbing rebounds. Tyson Chandler can rebound, but he doesn't strike me as an intimidator yet.
I don't see the Bulls becoming a dynasty again yet, if ever again, but they will definitely have a better chance at winning a title now. They've needed an inside presence and, barring injuries, now finally have one.

I was cying when I heard that because he has been my favorite player for 6 years, on my favorite team. I guess I will have to follow two teams from now on...
Ben Wallace only has a few good years left so I think the bulls got him to teach some of their players how to truly anticipate offense and how to become a true defender

I'm very upset by this move. He was my fav Piston. Good luck to the Bulls. The Palace will longer chime the Big Ben no more.

I think they already did but the Bulls cannot formally announce the contract until 7-12

Ben is really good and he will make the Bulls a lot better so i guess i m happy he is going

I'm no Bulls fan, but I'm anxious to see how they do with him- and who else will be playing next to him considering I think Chandler and Gordon will be gone before the season starts

i think that the bulls have done an amzing job rebuilding and will be awsome next year they got to the playoffs this year before they got tyrus thomas and ben wallace!

i love it because the Bulls are my team. they are saying this makes the Bulls istant title contenders, and the second best team in the east after miami.
