Dont listen to anything that person below said. U r not fat. 90 pounds is normal for a 10 year old. I'm 11 and I weigh 104. That seems like a lot. But its not no1 even believes me when I tell them I'm that much cuz I look so skinny but the taller u r the more u weigh and the more muscles u have the more u weigh. So dont worry about it ur weight is perfectly fine. Ur cousin unhealthy if shes 8 and weighs 40 pounds that like how much 5 or 6 year olds way. She needs to eat more and no u shouldnt be like her.

Don't worry about your weight. You are only 10 years old. If there was a serious weight issue your regular doctor would have already discussed this with you and your parents. People all come in different shapes and sizes. Just because your cousin weighs less then you doesn't mean that for your body type you are overweight. As long as you like who you are and enjoy and active play schedule..sports, dance, gymnastics, etc..and eat good food and not junk all the time you will be fine. Be happy and enjoy being 10. Stop worrying about who weighs less, looks better. You will just spend the rest of your life in that trap.

It all depends honey. Are you tall or short? Also, you should never be thinking about being fat at your age, your body still has so far to go to get where it's going to be. You're only 10, that means you still have 8 more years to get taller, and to look however you're going to end up looking. In the meantime.. this goes for "skinny" people too, just eat heathy.. fruits and veggies, milk and cheese.. you know, all the stuff your mom tells you to eat that you don't want too. Take it from me.. when I was 10.. I had some "baby fat" and when I was 15 , I joined some sports and now , I think I look fine. Don't think you're fat, just think that you're still growing. And some people have to watch what they eat, that's just the way it is. Peace.

I really don't think you should be worrying about it at your age! Your body will change so much in the next few years.. And NO I do not think 90 pounds is fat for a 10 year old. 2 years is a lot when it comes to kids and bodies, so don't worry about your cousin..
Also, she is too thin! But we all have different bodies.. Be proud of who you are, and find something else to worry about;-)

You should be you. At 10 your height should help determine your weight, but what you should think about more than if your fat is are your healthy. Do you eat well? It is a shame that a 10yr old would already start with these questions- I blame our diety society, not you. Darn Them!!!
Avoid sodas, candy, and sugary drinks
Avoid all those fun food that are being sold by commercials to your age group (McDonalds, Mac & Cheese etc)
Get plenty of play/excersize eat plenty of fruits and veggies, drink lots of water!
have a fun summer!

Everyone is made differently, not everyone is the same size that's how God wanted it to be. Inside your body are genes; these genes have told your body since the day you were formed how you were going to look, what eye, hair, skin color you were going to have, your body weight, body shape, height. You can't change how you are developing. Your body is still growing and you will go through many weight changes and growth spurts, it's all good. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Enjoy the fact your healthy and can enjoy being a healthy young lady. I will pray for you.

Don't judge yourself by someone else's standards. You should eat healthy and exercise regularly, and your body will find its perfect weight for your height and type.
Try out the BMI—Body Mass Index: Child and Teen Calculator here: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx
It will tell you if you are overweight according to the Department of Health and Human Services.

if your doctor says you are overweight, then eat yogurt and pecans every day as a meal. It's yummy and it gives you lots of calcium. Also eat Healthy Choice dinners. And remember that you will be exercising when you are older, so why not start young.... exercise 4 days a week.
ps Oh yes, and take a multi-vitamin without iron.

Check out www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/. Just put in your wait and height and it checks your Body Mass Index(Be warned I'm not sure if it takes into account how much is muscle mass). If the chart does say your overweight don't fret your only ten. Don't try to compare yourself to your cousin. We are all different individuals. Just try to watch your portions your metabolism might just be a little slower. I pray everything works out.
