They won't.... Rooney has said he will never play with Ronaldo again willingly, and fair play to him after the vile little lickspittle behaved as he did...... I would refuse to play with someone who had done that to me.... So Ferguson will end up having to choose which to keep or risk massive problems in the dressing room, on the training area and indeed on the pitch. As Ronaldo isn't half the player for United he is for Portugal (19 goals in 89 appearances????) then one can only see United cashing in and sending him on his way... though personally I'd love a season of Ronaldo touring the Premiership opposing grounds stuck out on the wing facing a barrage of abuse and (with any luck) physical roughing up from English full backs... and no doubt at the first sign of contact will go down crying (probably literally) for a free kick in the way that Rooney could have done at least 5 times before the final 'stamp'....

No lets not forget it -- take it you are a MUFC fan then.
The beutiful game has been getting uglier and uglier for the past 20 years and its about time that some iconic player - Rooney, stood up and does something to show the rest of the world that the game of football is about, well - football.
In Rugby League if you approach the referee to complain you run a very high risk of conceeding a penalty and losing a 10m gain on th eplay. The RL players respect referees and the officials.
Lets clean up the game, cheats like Ronaldo, Figo, Drogba and many many more should be tried by video for unsporting conduct and be kicked out of the game - lets return to the days when US, the fans can talk about brilliance of individuals rather than how players cheated a victory or an advantage through ungentlemanly conduct.
Bring in video refereeing, bring in technology - kick out scum

Sir Alex is a clever coach that will sort the problems and differences that the 2 players have, as for the spectators Booing Ronaldo he thrives on that and that only makes him a better player that rises to the occasion just like Rooney, the 2 together will be a Lethal Pair up front for Man. United.

Its taken the World Cup for everyone to realise how much of a diving cheat Ronaldo really is. He does it every week at Old Trafford.
I'm a massive Man Utd fan but diving and cheating is spoiling the game everywhere, not just in England!! Its got to stop!!
Keep Rooney..... Get rid of Ronaldo!!

By the looks of things Rooney n Ronaldo dont see eye to eye(to put it lightly). It did'nt look very freindly at the start of the game when Ronaldo butted the back of Rooneys head, I think its just a clash of cultures. Fergie will sort it out, there will be no problems when they take to the field for the new season, if there was a problem Fergie would not hesitate to sell either of these egotistical cunts.

I feel that after the weekend Rooney will be there on his own without Ronaldo.
Do you think the Man U support will welcome at Old Trafford this coming season? Even the away support will have a lot to say about the matter.
Set up a campaign to have him out. The thug from Madeira cost England dear.

I think ronalde will be sent off, rooney doesn't seem like the type to forgive and forget and in don't think man united will afford to lose rooney. they'll ditch ronaldo if they have to choose

It seems that a lot of people tend to forget that Rooney acted as a pig and step on (the "sensitive" part of) the fallen player!
He was of coursed kicked out of the game and his behavior cost England the game!

The main thing is to remember that they play for Manchester United, in many eyes the biggest club in the world. Always remember players are not as big as the club. Any problems they will leave.
