Sorry Roony plays lyk a monkey and that is such an insult to pele!!! he is sooooo over rated and feels himself too much
and also england shud have been knocked out much earlier, no body i know was upset ( if they were it was a girl crying for bekham bcause he is cute and they won't see him play in the WC again)
Everybody's penalties were great ( if it was on target) but it was just the goalie who was simply magnificent, he shud have been man of the match

Gerrard and Lampard sucked! but the goalie, with the aid of the ref cheated. "I wasn't ready?" tough ****, he scored!
But I do think the English team played badly, they let us down badly and the manager let them down badly by playing a rubbish system.
Portugal bent the rules as far as possible and the ref allowed them to dive all over the place. They played a very dirty game, and we should have expected that and allowed for it in our gameplan and NOT have Rooney on the pitch. It was obvious that he was not going to get any service as a lone striker, he would get frustrated, be goaded by the Portugese and then lash out. He was a red card waiting to happen, so why did Sven play that system?
As for the penalties? well the aim should be to boot the ****** as hard and as straight as you can. an international player should score a penalty 99% of the time. they were sh1t
as for the tone of the question, why would I expect anyone that isn't an England fan to be unhappy that they are out? I am not upset that Brazil or Spain are out? and I will be delighted if France dump all over Portugal from a great height. The way Portugal play, they do not deserve to advance any further.

Unfortunately England has a hard time with penalties, there is a history especially with the Portuguese...Carragher when he scored the penaltie before the ref blew his whistle.... that was painful...I am glad we have a new coach Steve McClaren..."Rule Britannia" & England are GREAT!!
