When there is no internal conflict. People should understand the changes needed as the time passes, both young and old generation should understand their committment towards their own community people, in all respects. Caste, race, religion etc., are all created by human beings, so adapting to the changes may not be a problem.

The future world will see only HUMAN RACE!

You need to stop being so self-centered. Life is so much more...most of all much more than hating ones own race. Start getting involved in something bigger than yourself. Go to a Christian church for example...just for the heck of it...There you will learn about love for yourself and others through Jesus. Get baptized and you will sure to overcome what you call "internal racism".

I don't think it's something you can overcome. You can however change your personal view from the ones you were taught. If you were taught you should go to church on a daily basis when you were a child, but you now think that going once a week is enough for you, it's your decision, but you were taught differently. You don't do it as much, but you still do it. Racism is the same thing. We believe what we were taught, but we can change how we feel about it, and have less of it, but it's still planted. Some people say "I'm not prejudiced". It only proves that they are. They were taught to be, and trying to prove that they're not.

You have to learn to love your self/race etc before you can let go of whatever self conceived feelings of ambivalence you carry about your own race. You have to ask yourself are my feelings valid, what has caused them ,what makes me feel this way. Educate yourself about your race .see all the good and not just the bad. Race esteem is normally something you have thru birth,if circumstances or the actions of others have affected this you need to look at why and how they made you feel this way. I don't have an easy answer for you but I do wish you peace of mind and a better understanding of yourself

For one, stop looking at yourself as being defined by race or skin color. For every bad white, black, mexican, chinese, arabic, whatever person out there, there's at least one decent ,honest person. What matters isn't your color, it's how you live, what you contribute to your society. As people, we all have a certain amount of value. Some people choose to dwell on the negative aspects of human nature, some don't. Bottom line is, you,me, and everybody else has a choice to love ourself and be productive or to wallow in self pity and contempt. It's an individual thing.

Having been raised in Asia, though I am white, I am more atuned to Oriental views than to those of America. I find it difficult to accept American culture and the attitudes of Americans and I guess this qualifies me as somewhat an internal racist. I am amazed by the unfeeling attitude of Americans for others. America has had the luxury of natural resources and diverse cultures to build on, but other races have not and it causes me distress that they look down on 'my home boys'. I live in China by choice as Americans are not my kind of people now.

Everytime you have a negative thought about who you are and where you come from, consciously form a positive thought. When you rage against who you are and where you come from, in your mind direct that rage away from yourself, and, most important, try to replace it with a positive thought about yourself and your identity group. If you get the knack for this, you can overcome internal dissention expressed in "internal racism".

You stop it by attending public school with atheistic, liberal teachers.
You stop it by realizing that there is only one race of people on this planet...The Human Race.

From an article:
One of the prevalent evidences of man’s inhumanity to man is racism. Put simply, racism is prejudice against people of other ‘races’1 for that reason alone. Stereotypical rules are applied to demean individuals based on their cultural background, skin colour, appearance, or accent.

More often than not, these rules allow an unfounded assumption of superiority over that individual, which in turn justifies any feelings of disdain or indifference towards them. In truth, this attitude is usually based on nothing more than fear, ignorance, and misunderstanding. The manifestations of racism can be blatant, such as in hatred from the Ku Klux Klan or the oppressiveness of apartheid; it can also be as simple as telling degrading anecdotes or possessing a cold attitude of indifference.

As a result of evolutionary thinking, many in Western society are unable to experience heartfelt sympathy for starving children in poverty-stricken Third World countries. For reasons they could never justify, they believe ‘life’ somehow means less to these strangers with different skin colour and features. Incredibly, I have heard this type of comment from ‘educated’ people!

This misinformed attitude is understandable if people accept the idea of ‘survival of the fittest’, that the rules of the animal kingdom must apply to humans ‘because we’ve all evolved from animals’!

Neither racism—nor the idea of evolution—started with Darwin. Both are manifestations of basing one’s thinking on a non-biblical foundation. However, Darwin’s writings greatly fuelled racism, providing a ‘scientific’ justification for it. His book’s subtitle referred to the ‘preservation of favoured races’.

The Bible, of course, teaches in the first chapter of Genesis that God created the heavens and the earth, and all life upon it. There is no evidence to show that man’s existence came about in any other way. The theory of evolution is based on assumption and misinformation.

If we believe the Bible, all of the Bible, then it is clear that all people were created by God. ‘And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul’ (Genesis 2:7).

If you mean, racist tendencies in yourself that you would like to eliminate, then the best approach is to get to know several people from other races that you have racist tendencies toward.

Racism is almost always general. Getting to know individual always brings home the obvious fact that their are all kinds of people in all races.

This helps us stop having hate toward a race, and are left only hating SOB's of all races. The next step, getting rid of tendencies to hate mean, stupid, arrogant morons, is, I think, harder.

Treat everyone as you wish to be treated. No, child is born racist or hating. It's a learned behavior. We are taught all forms of racism and sexism. Which anyone can overcome if they chose to do so. They can make a conscious decision to eb racist or not be racist. Life is too short for such pettiness in these times.
