I am starting college in the fall and am nervous about someone else seeing me naked because I have never been naked in front of anyone else before.

You're living with people but it doesnt mean you're joining a nudist colony.
The worst level of privacy loss, to me is the bathrooms. Theyre usually just a row of stalls, and the showers are all in row with just curtains, but there is usually enough room to get undressed behind the curtain. but no one likes pooping in a bathroom stall. might as well be sitting on a bucket in the hall way.
But otherwise, you have no reason to be seen naked. Its not like people are trying to see you anyway, dont worry about it.

It was a long time ago I was in college ---and showers were just open completely so you saw every guy naked in the shower---My room mate was a real good guy---a very relaxed guy so I did see him naked as he saw me---not for long periods of time-- but in changing or dressing or coming in from shower -- yes--we saw each other naked--- to the young man that seems upset about it----I really feel you will quickly get very used to some degree of nakedness--start out slow perhaps at first you could shower a little later or earlier than most----Simply taking off your clothes in front of your roommate could literally be a couple seconds so I do not think it will be a problem Good Luck in college

It depends on your and your roommate's preference. Many dorms have open showers (fewer than when I was in college), so you see each other naked. If you schedule your showers and changing clothes to when no one is likely to be around, and if you or your roommate do sleep naked, it probably will not be a major problem. Others may take norice of your habits, however, and try to confront you when you or they are naked.
Remember, as an infant, you were probably naked in front of others quite often.

I was with my roommate for two years and I never saw him naked. I usually showered and took a change of clothes with me into the shower room. That avoided a lot of problems there.

I always managed to change when my roommate was out of the room. Also, the showers that I have seen are completely seperate with a changing area. If you are occasionally naked in your room, that would be a good way to claim your chair to yourself.

If God meant for us to be naked, we would have been born that way! I was raised in a home that was not shy about nudity. Love to be naked!
