I live in Bombay, India, its a coastal city. And for the past four days it has been raining non-stop. Tomorrow I have to college, what shoes can I wear ? Please do not suggest sneakers, because I freak out everytime muck lands on it. I've rtied wearing open floaters, but my feet get the muck then. What shall I do? I'm looking for good shoes . Where in Bombay can I find a similar pair to the link below ???

I cant wear flip-flops, coz the muck will land on my jeans, or whatever bottoms I'm wearing!

the pair that u have shown here is most likely to be available at Benetton stores...i have personally liked sandals with a little heel and in material which do not absorb water..aso the seams of ur pants don get spoiled..

wear gum boots(they r water proof)
as soon as u reach the destination remove the footwear and if possible wipe ur feet dry
clean ur feet to avoid infections

Hey this sounds familiar territory..its bad times to be in Mumbai and when u say floaters i wud suggest its hardly anything in such wild rains...wud suggest you check out stuff @ FS to know what will hold in such rains..online wud only get u so far..but being practical pl chk out stuff @ linking road u will certainly get sturdy options there..

just wear flip flops. If they get wet or muddy it coume right off. Just keep wipes or something in your purse so you can wipe your feet off.
