Additional details would help our answers be less generic. Basically, I'd say if he/she listens well and seems genuinely interested in what u have to say. If they return a smile, that's another indicator. If you mean likes you as more than just a casual friend, well, those things have a way of working themselves out. Be open and honest and you'll find a friend like you. Be fake and lie, and you'll find a friend like you. I recommend the open and honest approach, though... Those are the friends worth having... Remember: In any relationship, risk is necessary. No risk of vulnerability, the less deep the relationship will be. Hope it works out well...! =)

well they tend to stare at you a lot, unless you have something in your teeth.. they flirt with oyu a lot or it will be the other way around and theyll get really shy. You just seem to know. If you liek them back and your not sure, just take the chance what could go wrong?

if the person keeps looking at you more often.Main thing is to feel and trust your instincts.If u think he/she likes you then try to find out more.Just keep saying witty one liners to know whether one likes you or not.See if your friends can give you some information about the person.Most probably the person will try to get closer to you.Otherwise there r many other options to know.

1.They look at you a lot, even stare at you.
2.They smile at you a lot.
3.They talk about you, or say nice things about you or defend you in front of others.
4.They hang out around you, somewhere nearby where you are.
5.They touch you, by accident.

they'll generally give it away by their body language, they'll sit facing you even from across the room, they'll sit in the same position as you, they'll act nervous-ish and play with their hair/clothes/whatever,
they'll blink more often, glance over at you more often than the other people you're with, try to sit next to you etc.
