i have 2 make a geography project and need ur help!this was written on the holiday homework sheet :-"diversity of environment which exists in the world and that supports life". what all do u include in it? what should i write? does it mean the biodiversity?

I think it is all about the variation in all the creation of the world and its sustainability to the lives within.In Environmental sciences ,i know of what is called sustainable development-where for any given place by nature has what is called carring capacity.
By this we mean in a given environ,what it takes for live exist can be found within a given radius.this means that wat it takes live to survive in any environment is within that area.
Thus you can then include in your search: the mean of environment,live & how both are related.i think the question should include biodiversity.

Different environments such as dessert, savanna, rain forest, etc. are needed in order for evolution too produce biodiversity (mammals, reptiles, insects, plants).
The destruction of one environment will result on the extinction of those life forms that inhabit it.
The reduction of any one environment will result on the reduction in the number of specimens of any species inhabiting it.
The existence of only one environment (if possible) would reduce biodiversity to it's minimum. Under this situation the food chain would be so fragile that any imbalance would affect the entire system.

differents environments or lands like deserts,tropical rainforests, rain forests, grass land, tundra, and i guess wat type of animals live there like for example
deserts- lizards,cactus
tropical rainforets-dears,birds
rain forests-^
grassland-elephants,cows,dears and all big grass eatin animals which also attract animals like lions and all meat eatin animals
tundra- penguin,seals,polar bears
