Ok, in this dream I'm waking up and I can't open my eyes or see period. But, for some reason I'm still doing stuff. It's so realistic. Is my dream trying to tell me something?Am I going to become blind? Or is this just some silly dream that I have because I fear it or something?

Just a dream. It means that you were asleep and not actually experiencing reality.

You're eyes being closed and you being unable to open them is what we psychologists call "hostile irrigation." Because you're "still doing stuff" means that you may be suffering from OCD.

Important: You are not going to become blind.

So, let's get to the root of the problem. First we need to settle your problem with hostile irrigation. When you urinate, do you close your eyes? If you do, ask yourself why. Be honest. Do you remember any images of your parents or older siblings changing your diaper? If so, do you find that embarrassing? Jot your perceptions down on a piece of paper.

Now, OCD is harder to analyze. It's as if the wheel's still spinning but the hamster is dead. Sometimes we do things out of habit. That may not be compulsive. It's like that old joke; why do male dogs lick their balls. Answer: Because they can.

Obsessive? I think not.

So, the next time that you feel the need to masturbate, go into the bathroom and urinate instead. However, you must keep your eyes open. After a few years, this will release your hostile irrigation and the OCD will become a thing of the past because you've broken the habit.

People who think that psychology is all bullshit are a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

for some reason, you are relying on your other senses, and you no longer need your sense of sight to accomplish normal tasks.
this could mean that you are very psychic because you are not using the "physical" eyes so to speak but the intuitive knowing to carry on your tasks. this could also mean that you go through your days with your "eyes closed" so to speak, and that you need more clarity in your life. you need to pay more attention to what is around you. it could also mean that you need to "open your eyes" and notice what is "really" happening in your life right now and not try and ignore certain situations, it could mean that there is some beautiful being or love in your life that you are just not seeing. I would keep paper and pencil handy and write down my dreams upon awakening for a few nights. before you go to sleep, ask the universe, or god or whomever you trust to give you full and meaningful dreams and then write everything down and see if there is a pattern. without sitting with you and talking with you, I could not fully interpret this dream (actually it is the dreamer that has the final say in the end) I am just here to help and put things in a more orderly fashion. good luck.. pleasant dreams!

It's doubtful it means much.
Dreams are just a way a sensory seeking brain can get stimulation when your somatic sensory input is low. If not getting the sensory input it desires the brain will fabricate the input by retrieving parts of sensory memories (visual memories are most common, but it could be tactile memories such as pain). Many times the brain just steals input from any current collateral processing going on from your previous days activities (Oh, I dreamed repeatedly about those nasty things my boss said when he fired me yesterday).

The dreams themselves are meaningless, but from where the brain is stealing it's sensory input may indicate an ongoing dilemma.

Let me analyze this dream..

Waking up in the dream = Try to over come or control reality. Normally, when you enter in a dream state, you will probably unconsciously dream something related to your daily activities either opposite or similar.

In you case, you are still doing stuff but just can't see anything. That could mean that you try to overcome lots of things you are not confident but yet in your dream, you are trying to accomplish that even with your eyes closed.

You may fear something in reality, but not sure if it is . I am sure you are trying to overcome certain things unconsciously

I've heard an old wives tale that mornig dreams often come true. But as you have not mentioned wheter the dream you saw was in the morning then i can only say that don,t worry, maybe the dream was in the reverse, your eyesight may get better or you are wary of the fact that someone may inflict an injury to your eyes.

I don't think it means your going to go blind, maybe you are subconsciously worried about not seeing something. Missing something and going on with life without being aware of it. I don't know. I have weird dreams kinda like that. Like everybody knows something that I don't. W E I R D huh !!!!!!

Dreams are powerful things. Most people die in their sleep. Nightmares. Waking, and still in a semi-dreamlike state.

Just a dream, like walking around in your underwear. I mean if you dream about that it doesn't mean your are going to do it.

It could mean that things are going on that deep down you know about but aren't willing to 'look at' or admit. Is there something you are maybe in denial about?
