I have repented of my sin of inaction. I could not, in good conscience, vote for Al Gore back in 2000. He didn't convince me. I thought 'lets see what W can do'. Then 9/11 happened and everyone backed W. And then W began to do stupid things. Then he began to do hateful things. Then he began to do illegal things. I got back up and voted for Kerry and even volunteered to monitor the polls with the November 2 group to make sure people weren't being pressured or intimidated at the polling stations. Anyways, I've learned the importance of voting against the Republicans and its a lesson I won't forget.

First, I don't think that GW Bush is a joke. Neither do I think any candidate who makes a serious run for the Presidency, regardless of party, can be referred to as a joke by any person of reasonable intelligence. There are candidates, on both sides, I could see as "potentially scary". Any right wing Christian fundamentalist (ie Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell) would be a bad choice for the country. The same can be said for any ultra liberal (ie Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy), bad for the nation. Personally, I would like to see a John McCain/Joe Lieberman ticket, even if it is third party.

John McCain
FOX news and conservative talk radio has given us a voice that we haven't had since the formation of the constitution. Unfortunatley this "Voice" has bitterly divided us as a people. Not since the Civil War have we been this divided. Sad thing is United We Stand and Divided we fall. It seems as if both the Liberals and we the Conservatives are the lambs being led to the slaughter. Remember "UNITED WE STAND". It is time we had a town meeting and find common ground so we can redefine our goals. If not, then it's divided we fall.

Not vote for any of the dummycrats that are currently in the running. The republicans could run Donald Duck and he'd get my vote before Hillary and the the mob from the dummycrats.

As an Independent, I always vote for the person whom I believe will do the best job. I will not vote for anyone named Bush. Never have, never will.

Learn as much as I can about the candidates. Find out as much as I can about what they are for/against.
