I am going to buy the new civic but can't decide on what color to get.

If you have the money, you could get a color like yellow or red and then get a vinyl for it. If you don't plan to do any aftermarket work to it, I would recomend either blue or black, because w/honda those colors seem to just look nicer on the road. And seem to have more of a shine/metalic look to them. Hope you love your new Honda!!!

Don't buy a red one. Red cars get the most speeding tickets, for some reason. Also, Yellow cars have the lowest accident rate. I don't know why, it's just an insurance statistic.

Black or electric blue.
However Sliver will hide the dirt better and any small knocks and chips.
Yellow, shows dirt but insurance companies do like them.
Red, stand by for police attention, especially those playing traffic snooker

I bought the dark blue one in the coupe and I love it. The one drawback to it is you get the beige interior which can get messed up easily. Ive always had dark interiors and im not used to it yet.

Raw Umber, or Burnt Sienna, with Fuscia racing stripes... Or you could just pick the ever popular galaxy grey...

It's probably stupid to get a color just because a bunch of strangers told you to, but maybe you are stupid. Let's see.....go jump off a cliff! (Nope, you're still here, maybe you're not a stupid as your question makes you sound.) Get the color YOU like best.

Anything that suits you except white. White is hard to see in winter driving conditions.
