Many of us grind our teeth when we are sleeping at night. Our brain then translates those signals into dreams in which involve our teeth falling out.

Other explanations include: anxiety over our children because animals carry their young around with their teeth, and anxiety about our appearance.

There are few cases teeth will be falling out.

1. Baby changes teeth - changing stage - You may be into a stage that life will be a new stage like going to college, found new job, etc.

2. Being hurt and fall out - fighting/Fear stage. - If you have fear or some sort and if you engaged fights with someone, that also could mean you are hurt mentally rather than physically

3. Old and fall out - old age - That should not happen to old people because it is already done. That may happen to people who is going to midlife crisis.

See for yourself, which on do you think you fit in???

I remember having a similar dream years ago, but my teeth broke off, rather than falling out. It happened after I got a job as bank teller, knowing I would be working with the public. It was out of fear, I think, of my private insecurities showing to everyone.

this is really common, i've had it a few times and so have other people i know. dreams mean different things to different people, the best way to interpret is to think about aspects of the dream and how you feel when you think of them. but i think the tooth dream has to do with being afraid of losing something important to you, or of losing control. it's really unpleasant though isn't it? i love that feeling of waking up to realise it was only a dream and not real!

In my culture , it means that somebody in your family will die! They said that the antidote for this is.... upon waking up after your dream, look for a live bush/plant that you could sink your teeth into and bite it! It prevents that belief from happening in your family...... so they say!

I have the same type of dreams!! I'm glad I'm not alone. I always thought that maybe it meant I don't take good enough care of them, so my body is warning me to floss more often! It's very scary, I know exactly what you feel like.

Uh-oh... It means death. My sister dreamed it and it my grandad died. I dreamed it and my great-nan died. There's rules regarding which side of mouth, whether top or bottom, and how near to front of mouth to tell you what side of family, how old they are, and gender. I won't give you the details 'cos you'll be too scared if you check it out.

It means that you've lost your ability to think through a situation. You've lost your ability to think and to reason. I remember having these same dreams when I was going through a very difficult time and I didn't know what to do or who to turn to.
