Are you seeing a specialist? If not, maybe you have considered certain things such as hormones. If you have had this checked have they considered the fact that you may be menopausal. Some woman, even as in their early 20's can experience this. It is not all that common and sometimes doctors just over look it as a possible cause.

I know an woman (+50 yrs old now) that had her menses very rarely in her life. She had her first period at 30 years old and she could give birth to a boy with some special treatment, she had the period monthly for a couple of years and then it stopped. It just happens with some women, nobody knows why.

You have to know that there is Dr. of all Doctors; therefore in a situation like this, hold onto the principles of that which you are convinced to be greater than mankind. In doing this, there would be a significant change. Meanwhile, other Doctors have to be tried.

Yes they can tell by exam and especially blood tests..there are levels they can draw to see if you are menopausal or have some type of hormonal problem..if his physician doesn't know what he is doing then go see a good OB/GYN doctor.

well,if you are in your late 30's to mid 40's-you could be going through menopause. If you are younger,I would strongly suggest another gynocologist. It is not normal for you to go 4 years without your period,if you are younger than mid 30's.
