There is no definition for love. It is one of the three basic emotions that people feel. People that discover true love all seem to feel the same way. Perhaps if you would like to define it for yourself you should find people that have been in love for a long time. I've only had true love for 12 years, I can't define it for you. You'll know it when you have it. The parts of a true love I can tell you: Total honesty, total trust, total loyalty and desire. Desire is a many pronged wheel though. Physical desire does play a part, but the real desire you need is the desire to be with the person, the desire to work it out. I personally do not believe that god plays any part in it, but I am not a religious person.

Love is the intense feeling of caring for someone UNCONDITIONALLY. Meaning no matter what happens, your feelings are still there. If you're able to get over it b/c they've hurt you, then it's not love. IF you truly love someone, that feeling will always be there.
