Tis...wide eyed and wondrous how we are when we can see for what "it" is. But, what is it? Blindness is simply a way to hone other senses and skills, Napoleon. The realization of blindness and ultimate removal of ones glasses is the awakening of higher virtue. In this way, one may never be blind to the same thing ever again, glasses or no glasses. Leave your glasses on, everything looks prettier that way. When in doubt, peer over the top. Besides, it gives you a more thoughtful, yet aloof, and intellectual look.

my glasses are as transparent as i can let them get. you have to draw a line somewhere. if everything in this world was apparent to me, it would be a sight both too horrifying and too beautiful to take in. so i go on my happy way with my blinders on, semi-aware of what is happening off to the side but happily oblivious to that which i don't need to notice. mostly, i'm comfortable in my not-knowing.
