Not 4-0.
India were loosing in the 1st Test, but Jaffer superb 200+ gave India a good stage.
They took West Indies' 9 wickets and just 1 was remaining to make it 1-0.

2nd Test again similar, but India got 500+ in their 1st. The were needing wickets to win but rain came in and washed the 4th day and still they couldn't manage it on the final day due to Lara's 120.

3rd Test wasn't in India's hand. Needing 392 to win on the final day was something odd but possible. But you need somebody who can really attack the medium pacers as well as the spinners.
Luckilly the Carribean had no good spinners (like H Singh & A Kumble as India has) & they didn't impose the follow-on. (hope so you know what it is).

4th Test was India's side.

India should have won the series 3-0. our bowlers , Shrisanth. should have taken a wicket in 19 balls. Secondly, Dravid did not sang ,rain rain go away. In this way it was possible only 3-0. to make it 4-0 Viru should have been allowed to bat on the last day of 3rd test by W.I. Or umpire should have every ball "NO BALL" on which Viru was likely to be out.

Yes I will agree with you.
India could have made four nill in the test series against Windies .
In the first match India couldn't taste the victory as they are far by only one wicket. If bowlers had worked hard, we could win it.
Second was a bad dream because when India are in a winning edge, rain stopped play for one whole day.
In the third, it is batsmen fault as if they had batted quickly we would win that also.
Atlast the fourth test came into our hands and won the match. Thanks to "The Wall" R Dravid.
So in a overall view, India could have made it four nill.

The main reason was the inability of the Indian bowlers to get rid of the West Indian tail. The second reason was the rain in St. Kitts.

For India to have won those matches, better bowling with the old ball was required.

If india were playing with Sachin,Dravid,Pathan,Dhoni,Kapil Dev,Sunil gavaskar, Anil Kumble, Wishwanath,Srinath,Syed Kirmani and Bedi and West indies with a second stream team then there was a possibility India could have made it 4-0

4-0 to india by playing an extra bowler in place of kaif........ maybe agarkar as he was in gud form in the one dayers. Kaif only made a significant contribution in the innings where sehwag and dravid had already scored centuries which was not much of a score in needed situation.

4-0 to westindies. play saurav in place of harbhajan..... no comments needed
