You get a job in the mail room or as a janitor at a major studio and work your way up the ranks. Nobody is going to hire you as a director fresh out of school. You have to pay your dues and get any job that you can get in the industry. Just get your foot in the door taking any job that you can get and then begin to work laterally as well as moving up.
