You get some scary answers on here dont you?
A sore spot could be a variety of things. If it is tiny, it could be an ingrowing hair or just a blocked pore. Make sure you wash carefully and perhaps avoid deoderant for a few days. If it is more like a lump, it could still be nothing, but it is true that it could be something more nasty like a tumour. If it has been there a few days and is not getting better, the best thing to do is to get it checked out by your GP, it will only take a few minutes and it will take a lot of worry off your mind when he tells you it is nothing serious. Unfortunatly I cant be more specific without seeing it myself, and you shouldnt ignore it if it has been there more than a few days.
Good luck!
(By the way, thats not true about shingles).

Sorry Anna I am not a Lady.
I agree with the seek a doctor immediatley responce.
Not a good place for a lump, if there really is ever a good place for one. Lymphoma can be found in lumps and its a damn good idea to make sure that it is not some kind of other tumor as well.
I lost my best friend to cancer 7 years ago. Go get it checked out now.

It could be an infected hair follicle or gland..try just gentle cleansing with soap and water and avoid deodorant on that area. Sometimes certain deodorant can cause this. If the area gets bigger or more painful then see the doctor.

You probably have an infected hair follicle from using a deodarant. Use hot compresses on it and stop deodorant for a few days.

I think that you are using a deodorant that your body doesn't like. Try a deodorant that doesn't have a scent. If it is still bothering you go to the doctor.

It could be just an ingrown hair. But if there's a lump, have a doctor check it out. This is where breast cancer sometimes starts.

go to the doctor as my friend had sores under her arms and it turned out to be the deodorant she was using causing her pores to block.
