If you are measuring the volume of a solid by means of liquid displacement, using the change in the volume reading on some graduated contained, then the type of liquid used should have no effect upon the results.
If, for some reason (I cannot think of why you would ever do this), you wanted to measure the volume of some water by adding it to alcohol and measuring the change in volume, you would get an incorrect reading. 1 liter of water + 1 liter of alcohol does not equal 2 liters of solution in some cases.

measuring volume using alcohol or water will gives the same result. when you put a '1 liter' solid thing inside a beaker full of alcohol or water, 1 liter alcohol or water will spoil out of the beaker.
but, you have to mind one important thing that other people won't think about it seriously. in an open beaker that may have direct contact with air, the alcohol may vapor fast. the vapor rate of alcohol is really fast, many times faster than water. so, maybe you'll get a little bit smaller result if you measure volume with alcohol in an open beaker - the alcohol vapor!

A volume is a volume...if you have 1 liter of water and 1 liter of alcohol, you still just have 1 liter.

HMMM if you use a graduated cylinder 1mL is 1mL. It might not be the same weight, but it's the same volume. That's like saying that 1 lb of feathers weighs less than a 1 lb of lead. 1 Ib is 1 lb. so 1mL etc. is 1 mL. This is all dependent on temperature and pressure however.

Density is different, but a litre is a litre. Trick question.
It's like asking what's heaviest, 10 pounds of feathers or 10 punts of lead?

i imagine Sri Vidya Rajgopalan has given the desirable answer. notwithstanding the answer is amazingly lengthy. enable me clarify you briefly. Ram equipped a Bridge as a replace of deliver because he concept, if contained in the conflict with Ravana extra military of Varana is needed then it is going to likely be consumer-friendly to deliver reinforcement by a Bridge Than to deliver deliver.

One liter of Alcohol whether it is Ethanol, propanol, or butanol or even a higher chain alcohol is still equal to one liter of water.
