Neither special or ignored...
My daughter´s is 24 of December and we always make a separate party for her, with no Christmas contain... Then at night we attend the Christmas dinner as a separate matter...
You better do the same, have very delightful birthday and then go and celebrate the 4th of July as a 2 separate matters...

My birthday was on the 2nd of July, and I always have an extended weekend as a result. Besides, the 2nd is the actual day of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and is also the exact midpoint of the year (except during leap years). I always liked my birthday when I was in school because it fell in the summer.
My mother and father had the same birthday, January 28th, and about every 6-7 years their birthday would fall on Super Bowl Sunday.

My birthday is on Halloween, it was kind of cool as a kid because I got candy, cake and presents. Now that I'm an adult it's not all that special because we don't celebrate Halloween. The kids will go to the church and have a party(they are still young). My husband makes sure I at least have a special dinner or something. God bless!

It will be special. Knowing you share your birthday, with america history. Celebrate the 4th with freedom, and your age as well. Happy b-day, and fourth of July.

Special, yes, Ignored, NEVER! I would say that this makes you and your parents(ha,ha!) very unique to be born on the anniversary of our country's freedom, and to be born in a land that is free enough to express it through ourselves and our children, it has always been my belief that we leave the world in some way, better than what we found it, and we do that through our children, and to have one on a special holiday would strenghten that belief even more, feel privileged, you only go around once in a lifetime!!!hope this helps!

I used to just feel happy and special by self claiming that all celebration was for me, special me...
Deep inside, I never understood why my teacher in kindergarten never like me, despite my great school performance, by never celebration my birthday in the classroom (well, I had 2 years of kindergarten). I realized much later that I was actually not disliked. Just like everyone was off on my birthday, :(

A birthday is a "birth" day regardless of the date. I would feel special as it's my day... however, in all honesty I think one would sort of feel that the day was shared with the holiday. I don't know, I am not one of those that share my birthday with a holiday.

every day is special if we are alive. Live life the fun way and if your birthday falls on a holiday just celebrate it more.
