I'm kind of surprised that England could lose an ODI series 0-5 to someone as weak as Sri Lanka. No disrespect, but they aren't as big as Australia or India. I will try to look out for Sri Lanka's one-day performances to see if they can continue their ODI form in forthcoming series.

Yeah, bring it on!in the form that they showed during the whole England tour they have proved once again, that they are a dangerous side and that they can play outside the sub continent as well, for those of who thinks or surprised that 'how come?'
or 'England were beaten to a weak team!';well England cricket has not been the greatest, even though they won the ashes in a very close call ( hats off!) what you have to understand is that Australia kept the ashes for years and well, they are no doubt one of he best sides in the world.England will always have something to say about anything, either injuries or lack of experience!
its sad that the English does the same thing to all their sports, find excuses or try to put the blame on someone! for an instance the British media are the most biased media in the world, they never praise any other side, Evan the commentators, like Nasser Hussain didn't even bother coming to comment in the second half of the last game. its sad that they don't appreciate good thing when they see it! Hopefully Sri Lanka will keep up the fighting spirit and do well. all the best lads!

Sri Lanka are doing very well. However, England have struggled with injuries and then become demoralised. As the Cricketing Authorities now recognise, you can only judge the strengthe of a national team after they have played series against all the other major Test countries. Let us see how Sri Lanka does against India, Pakistan and Australia.

I guess the Sri Lankan team is improving as a team with new players and with talented strong players. Itâ€â„¢s amazing how they performed without Murali in the bowling side. Its hard to categorise a cricket team based on one series.
Sri Lanka got talented great players. Well done to them!!

Sri Lankan cricket team is on fire. That is b'coz of the presence of Mahela Jayawardene, Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakarra ,etc.

Sri Lanka is very good in bowling. Tight bowling from Vaas, Malinga (Lasith M,), Muralitharan, and Maharoof who take wickets. And also part-time bowlers like Jayasuriya & Dilshan who bowl very well.

All Sri Lanka is to do in the test section as they face South Africa who are very good but it's Lankan soil.
further than that ... again on their own soil they'll face SA & India in the Tri-Series which can be history repeating itself when West Indies was the 3rd nation last August.???? Send in your comments.

Sri Lanka defeated South Africa in the Tri-Series (VB) last year and went through the finals where they defeated hosts Australia in the 1st one.

I was impressed, even without Muralithran the Sri Lankans are excelling.

I thought they were outplayed in certaining the first two of the test series, but they are definately the better one day side.

I don´t think that there was any big difference between the two sides, except three Players "Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene, and of course Tharanga". but still you can´t take the credit away from them. They out-played the English team, and of course you can also not take the credit away from English team as well. They let themselves to be out-played. So they lost brilliantly hahahah. I hope you understood what i mean. I hate English team because i don´t believe that they didn´t perform well. because their players were injured. NO. You can´t say that because they were playing at home

Thanks!
