philosophically, shadows are doubts. they increase as our knowledge is less and decrease as our knowledge increases and when knowledge is fully acquired, the shadow disappears!

depends on the time of day. At noon, small to non-existent. Early morning/late evening, much bigger. The shadow cannot exist without light, which raises the question whether it exists at all! Since a shadow is can be considered the absence of light, how can you measure its existence, much less its size?
