My best memory was learning how to make those little curls on top of Dairy Queen ice cream cones. (Hey a lot of people STILL can't do that!) I worked at a Dairy Queen that had a 50's motif. I LOVED that job. It had a real old style jukebox with old '45's' still in it. You could play 3 songs for a quarter and we'd turn it on every night after close while we were cleaning up. We had records hanging from the ceiling and the old 50's ice cream parlor look, as well as neon signs, and antique signs and posters up on the walls, and gumball machines and everything. That job was fun. We even had to wear those old red and white pinstriped coats and the little white hats. The best part was though, that my boss was into antiques (obviously) and they would do a car show in that city every year, and he would use the parking lot to cater an antique car show. GREAT classic cars to look at all day at work.

Eating hotdogs and free cokes. And getting paid. Watched a few free movies as well. I worked in a theater. Now, I never go to movies unless it is something that I really want to see.
I think what we see in response to this question is how these people’s careers will develop over time. It was a time of fun and all thorough high school I loved all my jobs. Some were better than others and I was always on the lookout for a better job. To me, it was a hell of a lot more fun than school. I didn’t in the least care how hard I had to work but how much I would get paid.

Being 16 years old and being the boss for a weekend at a service station, when both bosses were gone. But worse memory is when almost got arrested when I closed for the night and accidentally set off the alarm. I was facing two police squad cars and had to phone up the bosses wife. But I can laugh at it now. lol
