I sometimes name my snakes according to there personality or demeanor. My first corn snake was a bit feisty and nippy. I named him "Fluffy". My husband and i got a kick out of it. Sometimes it may seem weird naming snakes/reptiles, but so what.

I always thought that Checkers is a really cool name for corn snakes. It goes well with the checker board pattern on their bellies.

I had an albino rat, or corn, whaterver you prefer to call it, when I was a kid and I named him Shiloh pernounced shi-lo. He was over 3 1/2 feet when I got him and grew a few inches over 4 feet.
