Maybe the world ought to step in and bomb their government buildings and hunt down their elected official. They can't complain because they are currently committing the same acts. Who agrees that this action will bring some peace to the middle east?

If not for Israel, America's strong hold and ONLY true ally in the Middle East, it will all be in the hands of Iran and Syria.
Iran would have targeted the USA for its religeouse gihad war and we will not have the privelage of having Israel as a buffer.

Israel was more than fair with the Palestinians by giving them land of their own and funds. But the funds were stolen by the pal's government and they just want more land. they want Tel-Aviv's land.

It's like the native Americans demand New York back and all white and black people should leave. And if not they will terorize by blowing up subways and buildings.

Think about it

Bombing buildings and hunting down elected officials will never bring peace to the middle East...

I doubt anything will ever bring peace to the middle East..

As long as everybody feels they have 'God on their side'
we will never have peace anywhere but the grave....

take a moment out of your day and listen to John Lennon's wonderful song "Give Peace a Chance" and realize that he was gunned down in the street.... *sigh*

Ghandi was assassinated, so was Martin Luther King...

so it is, so it will always be...

peace be with you...

Peace will only come when ALL Palestinians recognize Israel's right to exist...and when they stop killing Israelis. Last fall, Israel withdrew unilaterally from the Gaza Strip and turned it over to the PA...this was done in order to show good faith in the peace process...the Palestinians showed their good faith by launching over 430 rockets as well as numerous suicide bombers and now the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier following Palestinian attack on an Israeli guard post in Israel, into southern Israel. In response, Israel has fired rockets at EMPTY PA gov't buildings...'

But any answer I give won't satisfy you as you seek the destruction of Israel. Nor has Israel "stolen" the land as many often say...prior to 1947, Jews OWNED half the land in Palestine (history lesson: Palestine didn't exist as a place name prior to the Council of Nicea in 325 CE, it was given this name derived from Pelishtim [Philistine] in an effort to deligitimize Jewish claims to the Holy Land by the Christian Council at the instigation of Emporer Constantine I). The UN resolutions would have evenly devided "Palestine" between Jewish majority areas and Arab majority areas. Instead the Arab League decided to "push" the Jews into the sea, but failed miserably. This is the root of all the problems in the area...

Yes....Isreal just sits there and pretends it is not filthy rich and strong. AFter stealing the land from the Palestinians, they bomb and kill those Palis because they are trying to get their land back. I understand and sympathize with what happened to the jews during the holocaust was terrible but they can't keep using that excuse over and over again for justifying their answers. They are commiting a genocide against the Palestinians.

Try finding the background terms and text of the UN Security Council Resolution number 146, which created what we know today as the State of Israel.

Only rag heads would agree with you. Most of the middle eastern muslim countries are a thorn in the side of the world. If you left Israel alone, they would leave you alone.

I have always heard that Israel (Jews) were God's chosen people. With God on your side, that is about as powerful as you can get. Who in their right mind would come against that?
