With a nomer like Skippy, my bet is that you're American and you just like throwing inflammatory questions out there because you can't get attention otherwise.
However, in case you're really not American, you've probably been a recipient of American goodness - either directly or indirectly. Further more, I think - since we're the worst people in the world - that we ought to kick outall of the foreigners that have come to the U.S. for a better life.

Americans and a America are the best people in the world. Have helped more people than any other country in the world and have received the least credit. Saved Europe ass more than once. God bless America and Americans

I don't know. They are always the first to arrive when world disaster strikes, I guess they are looking for the lime light. They spend millions of dollars all around the world trying to relieve suffering, but they're probably just trying to get in the Guinness book of world records. Individual American citizens volunteer their time all over the world helping those who suffer, but that's probably because they're to lazy to get a real job. So to answer your question, I don't know why.

Look, the only reason you a$$holes around the world do not like us Americans, is because you are jealous. We live in a free and open society and can do whatever we want (well within reason you know), whenever we want.
