the exact time of a football match varies the stipulated time is usually 90 minutes full time ( 45 mins per half ) then there is stoppage or injury time added on for stoppages during the match, and there can also be extra time if a result is needed extra time is usually 30 minutes (15 mins per half). So the exact time of a football match can vary however the rules state that the match must be 90 mins no less

its supposed to be 45 minutes, 15 minute break, then 45 minutes again...

however, theres never an exact time because the clock doesnt stop for injuries, fouls, arguments with the ref, etc. because of all these things, there are always a few minutes added to the end, making it a little more than 90 minutes.

but then for the round of 16 teams, the quarterfinals, the semifinals, and the finals, if the teams are tied, then they play overtime, which is 15 minutes, a short break, and another 15 minutes.

aaannndd....if its still tied after that, they go into penalty kicks.

so basically...a football match can range from 90 minutes to over 2 hours.

I'm assuming soccer. . . two 45 minute halves, so 90 minutes. Plus, in a single-elimination tournament, 30 minutes of extra time in case of a tie and then a shoot out if still tied after that.

90 minutes. The average is probably around 95 minutes though, with extra time.

Half time is 15 minutes by the way. (I believe.)

90 minutes and they add stoppage time to that when the ball is not in play...say during an injury...
And in elimination rounds, if the score if drawn then they get 30 minutes extra time to play and try to score.

about 2 hours. 10 minutes of anthems and junk, 90 regular, 5 stoppage, 15 halftime. normal game, alone, is 90 minutes + stoppage.
