i checked the pressure of a janitrol r-22 home condensing unit because of frozen compressor had 77Low 250H i did find cond fan wires hitting fan blade could that cause the original problem of a frozen comp/suct lines? air handler had 20 degree split

My experience is that the filter is filthy, or, sans a filter, the air handler coils are all crudded up! Time to clean the greasy deposits off!
Best to let a Certified HVAC contractor do it!
Pressures are the indicator, when Hi side goes over 180-200! Low side is Ok...

sounds about right on the pressures check to make sure your air filter is clean as this will make the lines freeze up some
